These native bees have been rescued and re-housed in marine grade marine plywood double layered boxes with perspex inner top lid so that you can unscrew the plywood top and view the bees for study and inspection. They come installed on a star picket with an outer layer polystyrene foam box cover for great insulation and protection. These congregating native stingless bees produce beautiful delicious amazing honey that it is said to have medicinal properties. There are around twelve Australian native species of congregating native bees that build hives and have a Queen bee.
