These extreme temperatures weren't isolated to one continent—they scorched Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa, showing how rapidly the crisis is escalating.
Scientists warn that these rising temperatures accelerate melting glaciers, increase wildfires, and intensify storms. Even more alarming, recent data suggests that the rate of warming is speeding up, not slowing down.
